Helmets, visors, intercoms and parts: each handled its own way
One catalogue holds a bulky sized helmet, a visor that scratches, an intercom with a lithium battery and hundreds of small, similar parts. We store and pick each type the way it needs.
How we handle each product type
Storage, picking and shipping change with what you sell.
| Product | Storage | Picking and packing | Shipping |
|---|---|---|---|
| Helmets | Located by model and size, never stacked on the shell | Box suited to the volume and visor protection | Service accepting bulky parcels |
| Visors | Protected location, in original packaging | Rigid packaging to avoid scratches and bending | Standard parcel |
| Battery intercoms | SKU flagged as light dangerous goods, kept apart | Packing and marking per lithium battery rules | Only services accepting batteries |
| Small fast-moving parts | Bins per reference near the picking area | Reference check before closing | Padded envelope or small box |
| Bulky items | Pallet or heavy-duty racking | Reinforced packing, dimensions recorded | Bulky service or groupage |
Each SKU is set up with dimensions, weight and, if it has a battery, its classification, so the system picks a compatible location, box and carrier.
Why parts are not just another ecommerce
Near-identical references
A part for two models may differ by one digit. It is located and picked by exact reference.
Sizes here too
Helmets, jackets, gloves and boots come in sizes: the same exchange rules as apparel.
Light dangerous goods
Intercoms, cameras or airbags with cartridges or batteries affect storage and transport.
Warranties
An intercom that does not turn on or a faulty helmet: receiving, photo and handling with the manufacturer.
Workshops and stores
Besides end customers, you supply workshops and dealers with multi-line orders.
Uneven turnover
A few references take most orders; we place them where they are picked fastest.
Frequently asked questions
Can you store intercoms and other lithium battery products?
Yes. We flag those SKUs at setup, keep them apart and pack and mark them as their regulations require. They only ship with transport services that accept batteries.
How do you protect helmets?
Each model and size has its own location, with no weight on the shell. We pack them in boxes suited to their volume and protect the visor. A branded helmet box is treated as part of the product.
Do you handle warranties?
Yes. We receive the product, inspect it with photos and follow your procedure: exchange, repair or return to the manufacturer. Everything is logged in the portal.
Do you serve workshops and stores as well as end customers?
Yes, from the same stock. B2B orders are prepared with a delivery note, by carton or pallet. See B2B logistics.
